Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to remove mold. What I usually use to actually remove the mold is baking soda and vinegar. You can make a paste like this. Right now it's not super thick, but the more you stir, the thicker it'll get. And you'll find the thicker part of the paste is actually at the bottom, so get a nice glob of this, this baking soda-vinegar mix and put it on to a toothbrush that you use to clean with. Usually you're going to have mold in the bathroom around the corners, anywhere that holds a lot of moisture, and it's normal. Don't freak out, and it's easy to remove. If you have it in caulking, you may have to remove the caulk and and re-caulk your area. But I would wait until the problem is pretty severe before you go to those lengths. In the mean time, just make this paste. So you see it's already thickening up quite a bit and use this to scrub. This is a totally non-toxic biodegradable way to clean and it works really, really well. Now, after you've done that, to prevent the mold from growing back, once a week you want to spray the area with bleach water. You want to use about a tablespoon of bleach and a quart of water. This will keep the mold from being able to grow again and it will kill any existing mold. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you remove mold.
