Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to show you some tips, on cleaning scratch marks from your glass. If you can stick your fingernail in the scratch, and really feel it, then it's too deep, you're going to have to replace the glass, or call a professional, because that's not something you can handle with what I'm about to show you. If you use some whitening toothpaste, because it has a little bit of grit to it, it's an excellent buffer for glass, and it won't be too abrasive, just get a soft cloth, and work and work, and work it around, in a circular motion. You don't want to press too hard, because you don't want to break the glass, obviously, but this is a really good buffer for glass, that will not scratch it. If you use something too abrasive, you're going to have a lot more scratches, than just the one or two scratches that you were trying to get rid of, to begin with, so be careful. You want to rinse that off, or wipe it off, and see how well it worked. You might have to repeat that process a couple of times, before you grab your window cleaner, put the finishing touches on. This one is ammonia free, so it's a lot safer for using indoors. It doesn't have harmful fumes. A microfiber cloth, or a paper towel, will work a lot better than this washcloth, but this is for demonstration purposes. I am Rachel Yatuzis, and that is how you remove scratches from your windows, or from glass.
