1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. chorizo (mexican) or italian sausage
1 can refried beans
1 (4oz) can diced green chilies
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup taco sauce
3 large avocados
1 tbl. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 cup sour cream
1 tomato, diced
1/2 cup olives (stuffed with pimentos)
Brown beef and sausage, drain well. Layer meat, refried beans, chilies, cheese and taco sauce in a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Meanwhile make guacamole; peel avocados. Mash with lemon juice and salt. Layer cooked meat mixture with guacamole (or serve this separate), sour cream, tomato, olives and extra cheese. Serve with chips.
