Jamie's French Restaurant's Cold Avocado Soup A La Sylvia Recipe

Step 1

Saute onions and garlic in olive oil just until tender. Peel, seed, and finely chop tomato. Add to onions and cook a few seconds. Blend all ingredients and chill for 4-6 hours.

Step 2

Serve in bowls or cups and top with a twist of lemon or lime peel.

  • 2tb Onions, chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 Tomatoes
  • 1ts Olive oil
  • 1c Avocado pulp
  • 1/2tb Lemon juice
  • 4ds Chili powder
  • 2tb Mayonnaise
  • 1/2c Stock
  • 1/2c Cream, heavy
