Perfection Salad Recipe

* Drain and chop the jar of pimientos.

Step 1

In medium saucepan, soften gelatin in lemon juice; t stand 1 minute. Over low heat, cook until gelatin dissolves. Add water, sugar, vinegar and salt; stir until sugar dissolves. Chill until partially set. Fold in remaining ingredients; pour into lightly oiled 6-cup mold. Chill until set, about 3 hours or overnight. Refrigerate leftovers.

  • 2ea Envelopes Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1/3c Lemon Juice
  • 2 3/4c Water
  • 1/2c Sugar
  • 1/4c Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2ts Salt
  • 2c Finely Shredded Cabbage
  • 1c Chopped Celery
  • 1/2c Chopped Green Pepper
  • 2oz (1 jar) Slice Pimientos *
