An Apple Onion Salad


If you’re looking for a healthy salad recipe that has a unique taste, you should consider making apple onion salad. The apple onion salad recipe includes simple ingredients and has a short preparation time. Step 1

Peel one red onion and then slice it into thin slices using a sharp knife. Cut each slice in half so that you have small strips of onions.

Step 2

Wash two red delicious apples in cool running water and then cut the apples into thin bite-sized pieces. Add the apple and onion pieces to a large bowl.

Step 3

Wash one head of iceberg lettuce and then peel off pieces of the lettuce. Add each piece of the lettuce to the large bowl with the apples and onions.

Step 4

Add 3 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar to the large bowl. Use a whisk to stir in the vinegar to spread it evenly.

Step 5

Add 1/4 tbsp. of sugar and 1/4 tsp. of salt to the salad. Use salad tongs to toss the salad until all of the ingredients are blended well.
