Hi, I'm Gabi, and I'm going to show you how to process sunflower seeds. So what I have here are some fresh sunflower seeds that I just removed from a sunflower. I have a cookie sheet, and I've got some salt. I pre-heated my oven to 350 degrees, and here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to spread my sunflower seeds on my cookie sheet. And it's really important that they're evenly spread, 'cause if they're on top of each other, then they won't roast evenly. So I'll spread them out really evenly, I'll use a whole tray. And it's important not to roast too many at a time. So, now I'm going to carefully carry these to the oven, and I'll let them roast for about 45 minutes. Okay, so my sunflower seeds have roasted. Now I'm going to use my sea salt, sprinkle them lightly over, being very careful because these are hot. And then very gently toss them together. And these are great for putting out at parties for people to snack on, or when you go to a baseball game or the movies. And that is how you process sunflower seeds.
