Experience
A Chicago native living in Los Angeles, Autumn has been writing and editing magazines professionally for eight years. In a former life, they were the Associate Editor of CICADA, a literary and comics magazine for young adults from the Cricket family of magazines. Since their tenure with CICADA, they have branched out into the world of shelter publications and have been the Senior Editor of Kitchen & Bath Design News since 2018. Their abundant curiosity has taken them from kitchens and baths to greenhouses and gardens. As a proud houseplant-parent, they are forever seeking new and innovative ways to bring the outdoors inside, particularly for city apartment-dwellers. Additionally, they are passionate about attracting and protecting native pollinators to outdoor plants.

Autumn has a bachelor's degree in creative writing from Knox College.
