Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to teach you about cleaning steel siding. The one thing you want to remember with metal is, you don't want to use anything too corrosive. Steel is a really strong metal obviously, but it can rust a little bit. So and you might want to shine it up really well. I say vinegar and water is the best thing to clean any metals with. So if you splash some vinegar into a bucket and have a scrub brush handy, you can spot clean any stains that may be on the siding. Make sure to have a hose ready so you can rinse it off afterwards. If you have a big job to do, grab one of these push brooms and use it as your sponge. Scrub like this, it'll save you time because you can do like three panels at a time. So just remember to try to use something that's not corrosive, even just a mild dish soap with water will work but it might leave soap spots if you don't rinse it off in time, vinegar and water you can just leave it, it's not going to hurt it. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean steel siding.
