Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to remove scratches from plastic lenses. If you have glasses with plastic lenses they get scratched easily. It's easy to fix. You need some what is this stuff called, Armor Edge works really well and you can just buff that into each side. With Armor Edge you want to make sure that you don't touch the frames with that stuff so try grabbing some lemon Pledge like some lemon wood cleaner and I'll tell you why this works. I always use green wood cleaners because they do not contain wax which builds up on your furniture. Well that wax comes in handy when you are trying to remove scratches from your plastic lenses, just buff, buff, buff. You can repeat this several times if you need to and after you get the scratches filled in clean the lenses with Windex or window cleaner you know, vinegar and water, something to, obviously so they won't be cloudy. Another thing you can try that works well and this is if you have a little bit more time on your hands, Brasso. It does not smell good but it works really great for removing scratches on plastic lenses. You just buff. Buff that Brasso on to the lenses for three to four minutes and you want to do three to four minutes on each side of the lens so this could be time consuming but it works really well. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you remove scratches from plastic lenses.
