Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to tell you about all natural cleaners. There's not a whole lot of regulations unfortunately in the cleaning world so people are allowed to put on the label all natural ingredients when maybe they only have a drop of lemon juice in it. The difference between all natural and naturally derived is this, when an ingredient is all natural, it means that it is used in the product in the exact same form as it's found in nature. That means they've plucked it off the plant and stuck it in the bottle, they haven't done anything to it. Naturally derived means that they've taken the ingredient and mixed it and made a compound so it will be useful to the consumer. It did come from a natural ingredient, it's naturally derived, but it's not all natural. And people word things on labels of cleaning products all the time to make it seem like what you're using is all natural when the truth is if you cannot pronounce it, it is not all natural. Period. That's the best way to know. You can still have green cleaners that are non-toxic and biodegradable like these, they are made from chemicals but the chemicals are non-toxic and biodegradable so they're still considered green. The best thing to clean with that is all natural that is harmless, non-toxic, biodegradable, the whole works, is vinegar and water. You can buy it a gallon at a time for less than a dollar and use it to clean your entire house including wood, everything, you can mix it with baking soda to make an excellent paste that's really great for tile and grout, it's really good for scrubbing. Lemon juice is an excellent all natural cleaner. It's really good for rust. Lots of different foods. Onions are good for rush, just research things a bit and you can see that there's chemical reactions that can happen between foods or anything, stuff you can find in your yard, stuff that is completely all natural, it'll cause chemical reactions and clean just about anything in your house. Just know the difference between natural, naturally derived, read the labels and don't be fooled. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that's a little bit about all natural cleaners.
