Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to organize a bedroom closet. This is probably the toughest challenge that I've had for myself ever since I've been married because you have to learn to share close space, not fun. Me and all of my stuff came and thought I was just going to take over the bedroom and then my husband comes with his stuff and I had to learn to organize our closet so that we could share this space. One thing you want to think is don't, if you have a walk-in closet, make sure you can walk in it, OK? Before I got married I had a walk-in closet you could never walk in it, I would lean just like this and reach for things. So make sure that you can actually walk in it. Second of all, have a place for everything. Closets are awesome for storage but you got to make it organized so you can actually store stuff. Like here's a spot for it looks like there's bags right here, a gym bag and a backpack, that's awesome, there's one spot for them. You can use bags like this Abercrombie bag for storage. You can put books in there, you can put maybe summer clothes in there when it's wintertime. Anything that's going to help you get stuff out of the way. Show racks. Whoever invented the shoe rack deserves like a Nobel Peace Prize for that because shoe racks are awesome, they are the best, there are so many different kinds. You can kinds that hang on doors, you can have one of these by your front door if you have white carpet and you don't want people walking in your house. Shoe racks are awesome, just make sure to use them for shoes. As far as your clothes, everyone is different. Some people hang up t-shirts, some people put them in the drawer, it's really up to you, they're your clothes, just make sure you're sharing your space if you need to. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and those are tips for organizing your closet.
