Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean silver jewelry. Everybody's got some silver jewelry lying around, and silver can get tarnished or dirty pretty easily. What you want to do, is find something that's not too abrasive, not too many chemicals. Something non-toxic, is going to be gentle on your jewelry. So what you can do is mix baking soda with water, and it will make a nice paste, that's still really great for scrubbing, but it won't scratch your metal or your jewelry or any stones that you may have in your silver jewelry. Just grab a toothbrush and get some of the mixture on your toothbrush, and use that to scrub your silver. Also, if you don't feel like mixing up baking soda and water, toothpaste is perfectly fine to clean silver with. It really just all depends on what you feel like using. If you're in the bathroom and you don't feel like running up to the kitchen and mixing up a paste, you can just grab your toothpaste and it will work just as fine, any kind of toothpaste. And plus your silver will be minty fresh. And, set it on a paper towel or something and let it dry. And that's it. I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and that is how you clean silver jewelry.
