Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to show you how to wash windows. You can use a solution of vinegar and water, that you should have in a spray bottle, sitting around your house at all times. I recommend it to everybody, because it can be used to clean anything. Vinegar and water is great for windows, because the vinegar evaporates really well, and it doesn't leave streaks. The secret to cleaning windows, no matter what you do, I like to use a commercial cleaner, because it has a good smell. I don't like to use anything with ammonia, so if you choose a green cleaning product, and it says on the label that it's nontoxic, it's not going to have you inhaling toxic fumes, and things like that, but back to what I was saying. The secret to cleaning windows, is to not use too much of your window cleaner, whether it be vinegar and water, or whatever window cleaner you choose. You want to always use a dry cloth, or the dry part of the paper towel, the dry part of the newspaper, to wipe the solution away. This is what keeps it from streaking, and the faster it dries, the less it's going to streak. This particular brand of glass cleaner works excellent with microfiber cloths, and that helps you save paper waste, so I highly recommend using microfiber cloths, just always use the dry side. I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and that is how you wash windows.
