Hi, my name is Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean copper pennies. It's really easy, any pennies that you want to clean because you collect coins and you can't read the date on them or anything like that, gather them up, put them in any container, if you want to use a jar because you can put a lid on it, that's fine. Pour vinegar in the jar, just until it covers the pennies, add about a tablespoon of salt, swirl it around to let it mix together really well, and let it sit for anywhere from five minutes to maybe twenty minutes. You'll be able to see the pennies change color, and you'll be able to see them get clean. After they are clean, just dump this mixture out, rinse your pennies off, and let them dry on a paper towel. And, that's how you clean copper pennies. My name's Rachel Yatuzis.
