Hi this is Yolanda Vanveen and in this segment we're going to talk about backyard fence styles. Now fences come in many shapes and sizes. Whether you have the beautiful white, short picket fence or you have a taller 6 foot privacy fence, there's many different fences that you can select for your backyard. And my theory is it's almost better to have a row of arborvitaes or camellias as opposed to a fence. If you have a great relationship with your neighbors, it's nice to be able to talk to them. And sometimes if your fence is really tall you have no access or you can't even talk to your neighbors over the fence and that's kind of sad. So I have found that if it's an area that's into the wildlife or into a main road, definitely your want a large privacy fence but if it's just with your neighbors, sometimes just a few arborvitaes are also beautiful. And if you don't need to cover the view totally, just using a wire fence works well to enclose. So if you have a fence and you just want to keep your dogs in or keep your kids in, you don't necessarily have to have a wooden fence, you can just have a wire fence as well. And cedar is always the best wood to use in a fence because it will last the longest. And that way you can enjoy your fence and it will last for a lifetime.
