Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean your coffee pot. This is a really easy thing to do and it needs to be done, really as often as you want. Sometimes people don't like the look of their coffee pot being nasty, but some people like to have the coffee stains in there. They think it makes their coffee taste better. So, who knows; I don't clean mine out that often. I would every couple of months. But what I do is, just like you're going to run your coffee through a regular cycle. You know, you want to remove the old coffee and filter and where you put your water in the water reservoir, dump vinegar and water and you're going to just run your coffee pot just like you're making a pot of coffee but without the coffee. Just dump the vinegar and water where it goes, turn the pot on and that vinegar will clean your coffee pot out all the way through and it will clean, you know, all the insides and also vinegar is an excellent disinfectant; so it will disinfect really well. So, make sure you pour all that in there. You may have to do it a couple of times if it's really stained; but usually one time will do a great job. That's it. Just turn your coffee pot on and let it run through its cycle and you'll have a nice clean coffee pot. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean a coffee pot.
