Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you the best way to wash your window screens. First, if you really want to wash them the right way you're going to have to remove them from the window like we have this one and prop it up against something that's not really going to get too dirty and that doesn't really get damaged by the elements because you're going to be getting it wet. Soap and water and things like that so. Prop it up. You may want to give it a once over with the hose first to wet it. And then make a cleaning solution using just dish soap and water. Should work perfectly fine. Get a scrub brush, a soft bristled scrub brush. You don't want to rip holes in your screens. They're not as fragile as pantyhose but they're not as strong as some other things like a chain linked fence, so. Be mindful of what you use. Scrub, scrub, scrub. You want to do both sides because when you scrub this side it's going to push all the dirt and stuff onto the other side so scrub the other side too. After that, grab your hose and rinse it off. And let it, woo, let it air dry. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is the best way to wash your window screens.
