Hi this is Jon and in this clip we will be creating the stretchers. Our stretcher components are the boards that are going between our two legs and they are going to span that gap and hold our base together. Now on this you will see that our stretchers are component M. Now on our materials list component M we are going to need two of those stretcher pieces and the size of those is going to be 5 X 17-1/2. On another piece of lumber we are going to measure out 17 - 1/2 inches and go ahead and make our cut on the radial arm saw and continue with the same procedure for our second piece. Now even though our table saw is already set up at 5 inches from our last cut you always want to double check just to make sure maybe the fence hasn't moved on you or the blade hasn't moved for some reason.
