Hi I'm Pete with Greenhouse Pest Management. We are Atlanta's true natural pest control company. How do you use black walnut as a natural insecticide? Black walnut produces a chemical called juglone which is a natural insecticide and it's common for people to take the leaves off that walnut tree; cut it up; plant it around their, the structure of their home and that's going to act as a, as a natural repellent for bugs to stay away from your home and it's also actually works as a natural residual for bugs who entered into your home. The biggest problems with this is that you're going to replace those things every three weeks. So one thing that you always got to look for is if you're dealing with the massive issues of insects, it's always deal with professionals. People who know what they're actually doing. Things that are program to, to be, to last longer around the structure of your home. I, however cannot endorse the juglone natural insecticide from that black walnut. It is not endorsed or govern by the Department of Agriculture. So please be safe. It is very toxic to your actual plants as well.
