Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, we will be installing our shelves. Once we've drilled all of our holes, we need to just clean off any debris that might be left over and we are ready to start putting our pins in. I've purchased these shelf support pins. Now you will notice that these are a 1/4 inch pins. They also sell 3/16's. Since this is for a bookshelf, I wanted to go with the 1/4 inch since it will be a little bit stronger. To install these you just stick them into our drilled holes and you want them to go in until just the flat part is showing. Now if they are really hard to put in, you might want to use a pair of pliers and help push them in or you might want to re-drill your hole a little bit just to maybe get any debris out. When you put your shelves in, go ahead and position your shelves directly on top and take a step back and see how it looks. If you take a look at the side of my project here, you will notice that my shelf is actually sticking out a little bit. To remedy that I am going to take it over to the table saw and take off just a little bit off of one edge.
