Hi this is Yolanda Vanveen and in this segment I want to talk about where to plant a hybrid poplar tree. Now poplar trees are beautiful trees and they're one of the fastest growing trees in the world. They grow really quickly and they are used very commonly now for paper and for other material and for fast growing wood that can be turned around and harvested very quickly so now poplar needs full hot sun and they want a really hot hot spot. They want lots of water. They'll grow right in a bog of water so you want to give them lots and lots of water so that they grow quickly and lots of room to grow because they can grow up to ten feet a year or even more it is said. So as long as you give them good material, good composted organic soil and lots of sun and lots of water you can grow your poplar very quickly and you can have a gorgeous tree in just a few years.
