Hi, I'm Erica. We're in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I'm going to talk to you about how to wash silk. First what you need to do is you need to shake it out and make sure there's any loose dirt or crumbs that are on the item that will fall off. After that you'll need to spray it with a pre-treatment spray. And then after that you will just need to rub, you'll need to grab a rag. And, do a circular motions from the inside...from the outside to the inside of the stain. After you're done with that, you'll need to fill a basin with lukewarm water and put detergent in it. Swish around the garment. Be sure not to wring it or twist it. After you've swished around a little bit, be sure to rinse it a couple of times to make sure that the garment runs clear so that there's no more soap in it. Then after that you'll put it in between two towels and roll it up. In between the two towels. Do not wring it, or you'll ruin your garment.
