Okay now that I have my plants ready to go and all pre-cut, I am going to take my individual roots and one technique that is optional but what I like to do is to soak the plant in a rooting hormone. the root hormone will be taken up through the root system and will help improve its chances of rooting quickly. So you just take it. It's about an ounce to a gallon of water depending on the type that you use. I usually use a B1 Rooting Hormone and I am just going to take all of these sections that I have cut out from my burlap and I am going to presoak them in this bucket here. You want them to soak for a good half an hour for it to do its job and to soak up all those nutrients that it needs. It is going to just give it a little bit of an advance start for rooting in the ground when it is time.l
