Hi! My name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, today I would like to talk to you about the proper use and maintenance of a yard weed eater. Let's take a moment and take a look at proper handling of your gas powered yard tool. And again whether it be gas powered or electric, there are do's and don'ts on how to handle it. First of all, notice that I have my safety gear on. I have a pair of gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses and a partial mask. Protect yourself, safety first. But general handling there are provided grips on the machine. There is a grip for one hand and one on the other. Make sure you have a good grip on it. We are just going to hold it out in front of us. This lawn has already been mowed. There is really not much to demonstrate here but for all practical purposes, when we are using it we will just sweep around trees. You can sweep around planters and just basically move from side to side holding it at a steady level base as you use it.
