Hi! I'm Gary for Expert Village. Let's see some of the supplies we're going to use to make our barometer. We're going to need a piece of poster board. This poster board will act as a kind of the ruler where the barometer is going to point to to indicate what type of weather we should expect. We're also going to use some different types of cut up papers that are going to be used to decorate our barometer. There is no real specific type of decoration. You can decorate it the way you want, but we've chosen some scraps of paper and some flower petals made of paper. We're going to make some decorations on the jar. Of course, we also need a glass jar. The jar should have an opening of about 2-3 inches wide. We're also going to need some sellotape. I'm going to be using 2 different sizes. We'll show you that later on. Then I have some more supplies that we're going to use. We have some markers here and all different colors. We're going to need a balloon. The balloon is going to be used to actually cover the jar. We're going to cut it and we're going to place it over the jar. We're going to seal it with a pipe cleaner. The straw, which will act as our needle on the barometer will sit on the balloon. We'll see that will help us measure the air pressure. We're going to need a scissors and the straw as I mentioned to act as our needle on the barometer and we're going to use some glue.
