Hi there, I am Melody Mooney, and today I'm giving you tips on how to fold, how to fold your laundry, and your clothes, and everything that you need to put away. So, the first thing I like to do with my blanket, after I get it back from the dry cleaner or washing it, is kind of shake it out, just make sure there's no burrs or anything in it. Then make sure you have a nice flat surface. I always fold everything on my kitchen table, but you could do it on the floor or you could do it on your bed, just make sure that it's flat. Okay, next thing I want to do is I want to go ahead and take that blanket and open it up, get it nice and flat on my surface. There we go, nice. Okay, we're ready for the next step. Take the left hand side and find the center and fold it in right to the center, just nice and flat. There we go. You're going to do the same thing on the right hand side. Take the right hand side of the blanket, find the center, fold it in like so. I like to make sure that my edges all match up. This is a really good way to do this by yourself. If it was a bigger blanket I might suggest going down to the floor or having a friend help fold. Next I'm going to take my bottom and fold it up to the top, you can smooth it out, just like that. And the last fold I'm going to do is towards me in the center one more time. Look at how flat and nice that is. Now, if you have a storage space or a linen closet that's a little bit smaller, you can fold one more time to make it even more compact, or you could put it back in the back of your car, anything like that. So, there you have it, that is how you fold a blanket!
