Hi there, this is Melody Mooney and today I'm giving you some tips on how to fold your clothes, and we're going to be working with ties and scarves today. So you're probably wondering "How do you fold a tie, I mean, what do you do with that"? Let me show you. We start with the tie. Make sure that it's tucked in the back here like that, and what I'm going to do is I'm actually putting it face down on my flat surface, I'm going to roll it. So I'm just going to roll it, roll it, roll it, roll up that tie, nice and tight, and when it's done you can put it, if you're traveling, inside one of your shoes, just kind of protect it, just don't forget it's in there. Okay, there we go. And then I take a little rubber band and I put it around just so it stays tight. There you go, it is ready to go! Pretty cool, huh? Now, this is just a small scarf and it's easy to fold. What I do is I fold it vertically, then I fold it horizontally, and horizontally one more time. But then what I'm going to do is I'm going to roll it up as well. Just keep it rolling, keep it going, and I'm going to put another little rubber band around it, not too tight, just to keep it in place for storage or to put away. Just like that, see? And you can do the same thing with your winter scarves. What I've got here is I'm going to fold it bottom to top, and I'm going to fold it one more time, and then I'm going to fold it right to left. And what I'm going to do is put a rubber band around it too, a bigger one. And again you don't want it too tight, just something that's going to keep everything together. So there you have it, that is how you fold ties and scarves!
