So I've decided for this project; what I am going to do is use a red mahagony stain which will show the different various grains through here nicely as you can see some of the grains right here. And when you are doing a staining project there are lots of other things you need just besides the stain. It's not as simple as going to the store and grabbing a stain and coming back home. You need to make sure you have a lot of different of materials on hand with you to complete your project. First off, you want an area where you can make a mess. Basically what I mean is you can put a tarp out and make sure that you have some older clothes on that you don't mind getting a little bit of stain on and just make sure there are no children, cats or dogs or anything like that around. Secondly, you need a good pair of gloves and what I mean by that is you want a pair of chemical resistant gloves not just some simple gloves for maybe washing the dishes or something like that because there can be a lot of chemicals that are acatually in the stains that you don't want to get in your hands; so chemical resistant gloves are really the way to go.
