Hi! I'm Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, today I would like to talk to you about the proper use and maintenance of a yard edger. Okay let's go ahead and start up our gas power yard tool here. But before I do so, remember safety first. I am going to put on my safety glasses, put on a pair of gloves, put on my ear plugs and before we actually get started, I will put on my particle l mask. As we talked about a few minutes ago, we set the kill switch to the on position, we've put our choke on to the on position or the closed position and we've depressed our primer bulb approximately 6 times to get some fresh gas into the carburetor so now let's go ahead and give it a pull to get it started. I do want to point out to you when you are trying to start your two cycle engine, do not depress the throttle control or the speed control. Don't pull that trigger until it actually starts. It's not necessary to give it gas to try and get it to start; give it a pull. Sometimes it may take a couple few pulls before it gets started. Let's see how it goes. Two cycle engines are sometimes a bear.
