Hi I'm Pete with Greenhouse Pest Management, we are Atlanta's true natural pest control company. A good way of detecting bedbugs is actual blemishes, bumps that are on your skin, bug bites that are on your skin. They seriously pop up through out the night. The best ways to really control a bedbug issue is really seeking a professional help. The bedbug issues goes way beyond the actual bed itself. The bedbugs will infest around the carpet baseboard areas, curtains, lampshades. So when a specialist comes in there is techniques that they are going to use that is going to help eliminate all life cycles of the actual bedbug. It is just not eliminating the adult bedbugs that are here, but it is eliminating the egg, the larvae, the pupae stages. That is what is going to make a successful for bedbug problems. There is several different ways that a professional will treat for bedbugs. Chemical wise going in washing all the fabric that is on the bed, getting underneath the box spring, applying insect growth regulators. Other techniques are heat. You know there's companies that will come out here apply heat treatments, and kind of just burn out the existing bedbug issues.
