Hi! My name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, today I would like to talk to you about the proper use and maintenance of a yard weed eater. Okay let's go ahead and start up our gas powered yard too. But before I do so, for safety first, I am going to put on my safety glasses, put on a pair gloves, a pair of ear plugs and before we actually get started, I will put on my particle mask. As we talked about just a moment ago, we set the kill switch to the on position, we've put our choke to the on postilion or the closed position and we depressed our primer bulb approximately 6 times to get some fresh gas in the carburetor, so let's give it a pull and see if we can get it to start. I do want to point out too when you are trying to start your two cycle engine, do not depress the throttle control or the speed control. Don't pull that trigger until it actually starts. It is not necessary to give it gas to try and get it to start, so give it a pull. Sometimes it may take a couple few pulls before it gets started. Let's see how it goes. Two cycle engines sometimes are a bear.
