Hi. My name is Matthew Christian from Tampa, Florida and on Behalf of Expert Village Today, I'd like to talk to you about the proper use and maintenance of a pressure washer. Now, this tubular piece here is what we refer to as the wand. They come in various lengths. Some are of steel , some are of aluminum. Most of which you'll find are aluminum to make it light. They can come in various lengths. And also some have a handle built into the side of the wand to help hold the pressure washer wand assembly firmly. Some pressure washers, like as I mentioned, are very powerful and might be 4,000 psi at four gallons per minute. And when you pull that trigger it kicks back like firing a shot gun. It pushes back and sometimes having that extra grip, that will help you hold onto the wand steadily. The wand screws in or threads into the trigger. And when you screw this or thread this in, it's a good practice or good habit to use thread tape and that will help prevent leaks.
