Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village, in this video clip I will be showing you how we are going to clean our cuts. The first edge that I'm going to clean is our front edge that we are going to be sitting at. The reason that we want to clean this up is so when we put our trim piece on it sits flat against both boards so there is no little gaps in there. What I have done is taken a chunk out of 2X4 and a belt sander piece of sandpaper and I wrapped that around it and I'm going to run this against my edge which is going to help me get a nice flat edge. Next, I'm going to use my edge sander to get my curved edged sanded down to the line.
