Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village, in this video clip I will be showing you how to make curved trim for our top. Now a good way to make a good curved trim without having the wood bender is to put a straight board underneath where our curve is and we are going to trace that onto our board. Next we are going to move our board up 3/4 of a inch and trace it again. Now that we have our curved trim piece lay it out and we are ready to cut it. I'm going to use the band saw to cut out our curve piece but I'm goign to stay far enough away from the line that I still have some room to sand off. Once I have cut my first curve I'm goign to go ahead and sand it to the line. I went ahead and made my second cut and sanded that off now I'm ready to see if it fits in place. You might need to adjust it to get your curve just right. If there is a small gap the clamps would pull that together and addition if you sanding was not perfect the first time you coudl always put some wood filler in and cover that up.
