Hi! Welcome back to Expert Village. My name is Charlie Folkman and today we are going to continue building our gazebo. So now we have the marks that we need. So the next step is to screw the furring strip on to the beam. So I am going to go ahead and hand Richard a couple of screws first. You are going to want to put a screw about every foot. We will just go ahead and start there at the top. Now what he is going to do is line it up with his first mark up there, go ahead and put a screw about an inch from the top and you need to make sure that you are lined up. Now if you notice we are not using the drill bit first to free drill our holes because this is really not cosmetic. That was just for that purpose. We are going to go ahead and just going to put screws in about every foot all the way the entire furring strip. Every time you move down, make sure you are lined up with your marks. We are going to go ahead and attach these furring strips to every beam a half inch in and then after we get that done, we will be able to cut out lattice and install it.
