WILLIAM HUTCHINSON: Restrepia here is another one of the large tropical forms that we find with the diversity of form, and the problem is, for most people, that the coloration found in a flower is fairly uniform from species to species are very similar, at least. The one we see here is actually one of the larger flowered ones. And again, like many of these others, they formed this offshoots and keikies. But one of the unique features of the Restrepia is the fact that it will keep on flowering one after the other, from the same point in the leaf. So, even though you have one going by, very shortly you will have another flower come along and continue the process of blooming. It is one of the reasons that a lot of orchids files, actually like to grow this form because they just keep flowering week after week.
