Hi I'm Karen Rodowicz and I'm the owner of JK Flowers and I'm here to help you to show you how to press flowers. The easiest way to do is once you take your favorite flower you are looking to press, you put it, you find, you get your heaviest phone books, you open them up in the middle of the phone book, you press, you put the flower in the center, close the phone book and take your extra phone book, because we all know we have tons of them, place them on top. If you have a brick or something heavy, you can also place that on top. Put it in a cool, dry place either a garage or a closet in your home. Leave it there for about three to four weeks. Once it's done, you can open up your phone books and you will find a thin, very delicate flower. Now when choosing your flowers you want to make sure if you want bright, bold colors you want to stick with darker color flowers, your reds, your oranges and your blues will hold the color a lot better than your whites or your yellows. Once again I hope this was helpful. Have fun pressing those favorite flowers, I'm Karen Rodowicz with JK Flowers.
