So the less you can move the better. That's a good tenet to live by when you're moving. So the more that you can find to sell or to donate or give away the better. So what I like to do is, if this option is available to you, you can go to your new house and or your new apartment and you can measure, take measurements of the rooms and then put it up on graph paper. Graph it out. So I did. I graphed my apartment, my new apartment on this sheet of paper. And then along the same lines I went ahead and measured my furniture and made little model pieces of furniture. And what this allows me to do is it allows me to be able to kind of organize my furniture and to understand if I'm going to be able to fit everything in to my apartment. And something that I found out is that I'm not going to be able to fit any of my rugs unfortunately in to my new apartment. They just don't fit in the spaces that I would like to put them in. So what that helps me know is that I can sell my rugs before I move and then I won't have to move them.
