Hi, this is Danny Botkin from Laughing Dog Farm. And today we're going to be talking about managing the spring hoop house. There's a lot to a hoop house because each square inch has so much potential. So we're out here early in the season, we have to take care of planting and watering the over wintered crops, harvesting, almost daily come spring. There's venting issues on a daily basis. Harvesting, succession cropping, planting new things to take the place of the older plants that have seen their day. If you're not out in the hoop house on a daily basis, you might just fall behind, so this is really a hobby for someone who is intensively in love with horticulture and permaculture food growing. I can show you some of the plants that we have going in here and in just a minute we're going to get down and show you our picking technique for mixed salad greens.
