Hi! I'm Karen Rodowicz, owner of JK Flowers and I'm here to help you take care of your fresh cut flowers. The first and easiest thing to do when you get your flowers home is cut the flowers on an angle. This gives the stem an open fresh cut to take in the water for in your arrangement. The next thing you want to do is keep your flower arrangements out of the direct sunlight because the sun will wilt your flower arrangements a lot quicker. Some other helpful tips is to add some flower food, you can also add some bleach. A little teaspoon of bleach in your vase or arrangement will keep down the mold that grows in the water. Some people feel uncomfortable adding the bleach so the other thing you might want to do instead of that is just change your water every two days. Now, when you're changing the water, you can also cut the bottoms again on an angle, that, too, will help the arrangement. But this are some helpful tips that'll help keep those flower arrangements alive. I hope this is helpful, Karen Rodowicz, JK Flowers.
