So something else that you'll definitely want to do is to recruit friends and family, unless, of course, you're going to be calling a moving company. But what I like to do, because it's a great way to save money and also to have fun, is to send out an email that just invites all my friends and family that I think would be willing to come and help me move, to come and help me move. And I tell them pretty much, just kind of give them the synopsis of the day and what I am going to be doing and when I'm going to be doing it, so then people who don't want to be moving, doing heavy lifting, can come and help me move, unpack dishes, or move smaller boxes. But it's a great way just to get people together, or you can frame it that way anyway, and you want to remember to send them the addresses for both the place that you are moving from and the place that you're moving to, as well as your phone number, which, ostensibly they have your phone number if they're your friends and family, but so that they can call you because you obviously are going to be different places during the day. And another nice thing to do to kind of coax them into coming to help you is to offer to feed them on the day of the move and also I'm going to be cooking dinner for my friends and family a couple weeks after my move.
