Hello, my name is Jose Seniga and I'm representing Expertvillage.com. Well, we're getting closer to our journey definitely for today. You know what, we're going to replant this palm tree. Lucky enough to have one here at home and I'm going to show you how you are going to do it. It's easy and simple. Earlier today, one thing that I did. I came out and checked the soil. The soil here tends to be pretty loose so therefore I don't need to soak the soil. Now, if you have one of those stubborn soils at home I suggest that you soak that about three hours. That should be sufficient. Now what we are going to do. We're going to go around the palm tree and start digging. You want to be somewhat gentle but yet rough so just kind of in between because we don't want to break any of the roots that are already going everywhere. As you can see, this is a small, little palm tree. It's not going to have a lot of roots. Another thing you should consider about palm trees is that the roots..this is the top and most of the time it stays above the ground so not too many roots. Let's start digging our palm out. Firm but gentle, just go around the palm. There we go, just around. Now to this side. And we're going to do the same thing, firm but gentle all the way around. Firm but gentle. Great. Now, what you're gonna do now is, with your fingers, go around where you've been digging. There you go. Kind of loosen it up. Good, I can feel, yeah, that's a root. Just pull it out. Look at that. That was not even difficult whatsoever. And this is how we transplant a palm tree into our garden.
