Hello! I'm Paul Popplewell with Central Equipment and I have been employed with them for 18 years and I am here today to represent Expert Village. Today we are going to show you how to remove the mower deck from a John Deer LA 130 though most lawn contractor's will be similar; some vary and the tools required to remove them. In this case, today we will need a 15 millimeter wrench and a pair of pliers. We will have to locate and remove 2 pins in the rear of the deck and 1 in the front of the deck and we will use a pair of pliers to pull the hair pin out of that. To relieve the tension on the belt, we use a 15 millimeter wrench and we will roll the idler puller out of the way so we can then remove the belt. Once we've done that, we can slide the deck out from under the tractor.
