Day lilies are another one of my favorite and down here as you can see it is brilliant red this is the reason why people fall in love then day lilies. This is the first one that I bought about 20 years ago and even in the 20 years span this day lily has not faded, it has not gotten out of the sync with the rest of the day lilies that have came out cause they are literally 100s of them. Part of the reason is because it is very easy to grow as long as you divide them every once every 3 years. Give them a little fertilizer and treat the roots underground with a little ground meal. They would grow in any kind of soil and they consistently year after year give your pleasure and they always look great. They have other colors that they look nice with, other plants that they look nice with, you can mix and match them. But it seems as though as anybody who has ever comes into this yard the first thing they are going to look for is the very bright day lily and it keeps on growing and making everything look well in your garden. So I definitely recommend this type of a flower day lilies and as you can see they look cheerful and they are beautiful.
