Okay. One of the final steps that you want to do is remulch around the plant. Putting mulch around the plant. This is what some of the cedar mulch looks like. There's all different kinds. There's black cedar mulch. There's Canadian hemlock, brown mulch. Some people like this kind of dyed color red mulch. Everybody has different taste. I personally like the brown natural color. We're just going to mulch back around this plant and that will help reduce water loss. It will help keep those roots nice and warm during the wintertime. It's just an overall good way to finish out the planting job. Makes it look nice and neat and helps keep weeds down as well. There you have it. It's all mulched in. About a 2 inch layer is good.
