Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to teach you a little bit about how to clean up mold. If it's mold that's easily accessible to you, like in your bathroom, do, you know, what you would normally do if you're cleaning up your bathroom, and get a sponge, and an all purpose cleaner or bathroom cleaner, spray it, and wipe it clean. If that doesn't work, try a little more abrasive cleaner, like Softscrub or Comet, something like that. If it still doesn't work, it may be because the mold is behind the caulking. If that's the case, you would have to remove the caulk and then, you know, wipe, wipe the mold off before re-caulking that area. With mold, if it is behind your walls, or things like that, you may have to have professionals come in to remove, but you do want to remove mold. You don't want mold in your house, especially black mold. It's very toxic for you to inhale, bad to have around your children, your pets, and things like that, and it can become a really serious problem. It can make your house impossible to sell, because a lot of times, now-a-days, they do use that as a home inspection key, you know, looking for mold, and things like that, because it is so hazardous. So, that's basically it. To keep it from re-growing in your bathroom, and things like that, you want to spray it with bleach water. It will kill anything that's left and keep it from growing back. I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and that's how you remove mold.
