Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to get mildew smells out of your clothes or fabric or anything like that, I guess mildew stains on fabric. A lot of times, this happens on pillow cases, teddy bears, wash clothes, things like that and the smell is somethin' that you just can't bear with so what you want to do is soak your pillow or shirt or whatever it is in vinegar and water. You can put them in the washing machine and let the washing machine fill up with water and then turn it off and add, you know, a cup or two cups of vinegar, to the load, depending on how big of a load it is, and let your item sit in the vinegar water overnight. Before, you know, you come back downstairs in the morning and turn it back on and let it go through it's regular cycle. Add the soap before you turn it back on and let it go through it's regular wash cycle, and that vinegar, the the item sitting in the vinegar is what's really going to get rid of the smell. Also wash your clothes or whatever it is in the hottest, hottest, hottest setting possible. The vinegar in combination with the really hot water is what's going to kill the mildew and really get rid of the smell once and for all. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you get mildew smells out of fabric.
