Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean a wooden cutting board. First and foremost after each time you use it, you want to go over it with hot water on a sponge with some soap. If you have any tougher stains on the cutting board, you can use salt on the specific spot, sprinkle it on there and use a lemon wedge as your sponge. Use that to rub it in really well and that will get rid of a little more severe stains. If that doesn't work and you have an even more serious stain, try using an anti-bacterial soap on the spot and some sort of scouring sponge to really scrub it in. If all three of these things fail, you're going to have to sand it but luckily if it's a cutting board if it's not this large, it wouldn't take that long a piece of sandpaper over it will get rid of the stain. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean a wooden cutting board.
