Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to teach a little bit about how to clean a house with pets. I have pets myself and I have a long haired cat, so...the main problem with most people and their animals is the shedding. For that reason, you want to start off cleaning your house in the wet areas like the kitchen and the bathrooms. When you have hair on the floor in the bathroom, a lot of times it'll collect around the base of of your toilet. Get a wet paper towel to wipe that up. Clean all the wet areas first, and then you want to start from the top and work your way down. Dust your house. Make sure that you're not just moving the hair around. You want to either be wiping it off or knocking it on to the floor 'cause the very last thing you want to do is go around and vacuum everything. Vacuum your furniture, vac-vacuum your hardwood floors, vacuum everything really, really well and if you're lucky, you may even be able to pick up the cat and vacuum her with one of thee attachments. I've tried and my cat didn't like it too much, but it all depends on the cat. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean a house with pets.
